Much has been published on the importance of addressing Health Equity and Population Health challenges, ranging from affordability to demographic and geographic barriers. To elevate the importance of Health Equity, the government (CMS) and policy (Quintuple Aim) have increased the importance of improving and ensuring quality healthcare is equally accessible. Payers and providers have been tasked with improving health equity and population health initiatives and approaches through quality demonstration and outcomes, although challenges remain. This discussion will explore various approaches that pharmaceutical manufacturers have employed to address health equity, population health initiatives to continue to demonstrate value and support their customers initiatives by: Types of Above Brand approaches How manufacturers engage and with whom they engage Where are there successes The role of analytics and HEOR, RWE in creating meaningful programs and collaborations
