Maximizing Access: Best Practices for Effective Pull-Through Strategies and Processes

As pricing pressures continue to affect access to medication and downstream affordability, pharmaceutical manufacturers are prioritizing efforts to improve access and maximize opportunities with payers and organized providers. Effective pull-through strategies are crucial in this effort, with far-reaching implications across commercial organizations that connect patients, providers and payers. Pull-through approaches can vary between traditional medicines and specialty/oncology medications, with different teams engaging with different customer stakeholders, all with the common goal of improving access.

This summit has three objectives:

1) Explore how pull-through strategies have evolved to include not only payer contract strategy pull-through but also pull-through for specialty and oncology medications. We will discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing pull-through strategies

2) Discuss the importance of an integrated customer approach across all segments (payer, provider, patient) and how to effectively engage customers across these continuums through strong analytics

3) Provide attendees with an understanding of best practices and roles responsible for pull-through, from planning, execution, analytics and KPIs
